To Sparkle or Not to Sparkle

It was this picture; Sandra Bullock's recent Vogue cover that sparked my sudden interest in sequins all over again. Don't get me wrong, I've always had a love affair with these sparkly pieces, but I've realized that it's been a while since I've incorporated them into my wardrobe, although they're one of these trends that don't really go away (I mean who says no to sparkle!) Whether it's a sequin dress, skirt, top, jacket or pants, it always manages to turn heads.

The Bigger The Better!

It's all about SKIRTS! Big, fluffy, flared, dramatic skirts! They are definitely the "IT" item for this fall/winter season. 

Whether your'e going out for lunch or having a romantic evening with that special someone, these skirts just hit the spot- an elegant, flirty and super stylish look. What I especially love about this skirt is that it looks gorgeous with many different pairings. For example, wear it with a crop top and a pair of peep-toe heels and you've got a simple sexy look. If you wear it with a body-fitting sweater and a pair of boots then you've got a more sophisticated look. If worn with a silk ballet bodysuit and a pair of funky heels, then you've got that funky chic look going. I definitely enjoy versatility in clothes- one item fits all!

Arm Candy...My Kinda Treat!

So I can't seem to get enough of adding on to my awesome (yes I love it) arm candy collection! I have to say that my biggest inspiration of creating my collection is none other than the super creative super trendy L'atelier Nawbar! <3 This unique jewelry store, owned by two lovely sisters, is where "dreams come true!" You'll know exactly what I'm talking about if you see the place- I mean there's a live show of the designs turning into the actual pieces! Faux Fur and Feather

Today's inspiration is all about the faux fur and feather- the FF&F! So what started off as a browsing spree for a dress for my sister's wedding ended up being one of me obsessing over these super stylish ff&fs! See, sidetracking is my specialty-keep having to stir myself away from looking at items I didn't necessarily go out to look for (but then again, how many of us don't actually do that!?!) But in all fairness, I'm gonna need one of those throws to wear over the dress (it's going to be during cold cold winter), so there you go case closed!

Denimania!

Hello gorgeous people,

Denimania- Denim + Mania! 

Just one of these days where I found myself OBSESSING over denim! It might have to do with my latest denim dress purchase from Topshop (pic to follow) which I'm in <3 with. 

But that's what's so amazing about it, works anytime, anyplace, any mood; it just works. SoI found myself inspired to look at the evolution of denim and came across this interesting article:
