It's funny, black is one of these colors that is always part of our wardrobe that when it's suddenly making a statement on the runways...we're kinda like "but when did it stop being in?!" Well, the truth is black is and always will be "IN." The idea is that we can wear black from head to toe and not necessarily look 'blah.'
So how do we do that? How do we bring "all black back" and look stylish? Well, in my opinion, accessories make all the difference. Whether you go for a funky pair of shoes or an eye-catching necklace, accessories sure do the trick.
Here are different black on black looks that I put together (I <3 using Polyvore to create different looks. Once we were asked to use it for one of the courses at the New York Fashion Institute of Technology, I got hooked. It's especially great as you create outfits on the budget that you have):

So I've decided not to label each item as the idea is to see the whole outfit. I'm also a firm believer in dress for less and to dress according to one's budget. It's in the style of the wardrobe put together, not in the cost.
